I agree messages are just a waste of bandwidth, but I agree! Particularly about that if someone has a problem using it let us know and will help. It feel strange at first to use it but once you got the hang of it, and that's usually after a couple of text messages, it's a breeze. I for once found it quite odd to use at first but... ok enough of me wasting bandwidth :)

Cheers,
Amro

I guess it would really help if those not yet comfortable or experienced
with predictive text, would say waht their experiences are, so that maybe
some on here can help resolve any issues; there really isn't very much too
it, and it is a million times faster/easier than long hand[ok, maybe a
million is a bit of an exageration, more like 999999 times <smile>]

I'm not the most techy bloke on these lists, but I have found predictive
very strait forward after learning just a few things about it. Guess in the
end it's a matter of choice, but I'm sure that some not currently using it
would be very pleasantly surprised if they could get to grips with it! -

| Hi Steve
|
| my friend Anne Rigby uses it. Whether or not her husband Phil does I
don't
| know. I've asked a few of my sighted friends at the pub if they use
| predictive texting and it's surprisingly mixed, some people hate it with a
| vengeance, other people absolutely love it. Whether or not I would be
| better off trying to learn it with the help of someone else, now that
would
| be an interesting possibility.

| Hi Alex,
|
| I wouldn't be without predictive and I am totally blind. So who is the
| other blind person? Does that make it two?
|
| Torsten Brand one of the developers of Talks is also totally blind and
uses
| it with no problem.
|
| All the best

| Hi Justine
|
| I'm interested that you use predictive texting, I only know one other
person
| who is blind that uses it, and one of my sighted friends hates it too.
| Personally I can't stand it, so how did you learn?

| Talking of predictive texting, which I do use, if I want to remove a word
