Thanks. I did give this ago earlier on a different machine, running Windows7,
and it didn't like it, not letting me access mail.
Do you know if Windows Live mail under win7 is the same as Windows mail under
vista? It's a new machine, and I was trying to set up email for the first time
on it. The ISP is BT, but the account in question is with Orange. Any ideas?

For the UK it's pop.orangehome.co.uk and smtp.orangehome.co.uk.
