Hi Barry,
I did a lot of shopping in Staples in Canada. I had no idea they had one
here. I found 2 in Glasgow. One of them is at 30-52 Finnieston Street. PC
World is at 30 Finnieston Street which puts Staples right next door, if not
attached to Staples. They might be imancipated in some way. I'll have to
phone later. Staple's website is very accessible, too. However, the bottom
of their website at:
http://www.staples.co.uk/ENG/StoreLocator/store_locator.asp?ID=A8 says this
site is for business customers only. There is no indication on the page for
home customers. I'll have to chicken by phone later.

Hi Peter

I don't know about better, but do you have a Staples in Glasgow? My local
Staples have their equipment on display.

PC World... What an atroceous site. Any other good computer stores in
Glasgow? I'd give them my custom over PC World if they offered a better
service, which really isn't too hard to do if you've ever been to their
store, no on shelf displays of products and or speaker systems. You can't
even check out whither a mouse is right for you or not because its in a
plastic bubble. I like to check out speakers, feel a mouse, check out a
scanner by the touch of it. I like to sit at a computer desk, not just feel
the weight of the box.

Peter

Peter, I don't think you are quite at the right page for PC World's online
shopping site. That's at:
