I've often had mailboxes get corrupted in Outlook Express.

For that reason, when the message pops up and asks if I want to
consolidate my emails, condense them or whatever the message says ... I
always say yes now and this seems to solve the issue.

It happens if you have a lot of traffic, so, if you're perhaps a
subscriber to a few high traffic email lists.

The way to get them back again is terribly difficult. I had to find a
text editor which specialised in this and I had to interrogate the
corrupt file in the folder directly. That was in XP.

Hi All

Sorry this isn't access related, but I hope the Moderators will excuse
me this once given the urgency of the problem.

I had quite a number of Emails in my In-Box in Outlook Express which I
had kept. This morning when I opened the program they have disappeared.
I didn't Delete them and I have checked my Deleted folder just in case,
but they are not there.

Has anyone any idea what has happened?

Kind Regards
