Derek

to turn off live update using jaws, do the following.

1. go to the desktop and press enter on the Norton icon.

2. When the Norton window opens, this may take a few seconds, tab until you
get to options and press enter.

3. route jaws to PC and then press page up once.

4. arrow down till jaws says live update.

5. use control+left arrow or control+right arrow to ensure that the jaws
cursor is on the words live update.

6. left mouse click it with the slash key on the number pad, it's the third
key in from the right on the top row of the number pad.

7. switch back to the PC cursor and tab to the item that says enable
automatic live update, it's checked by default. Press spacebar to uncheck
it.

8. tab to OK and press spacebar or enter on it.

9. press alt+F4.

10 press alt+F4 a second time, job done.
