Yes, I was thinking of MySpace because I understand it has the biggest selection of music (or perhaps did have). I'd be interested to know about FaceBook also.

The truely cogniscienti have moved onto Facebook these days so I am told
although whatever site you decide to set up camp on you have to decide
how much nformation you wish to trade if you are setting up as an
individual. MySpace is very good if you are promoting a band or some
music. It is also good if you are in your teens and get the whole
social online networking thing. To some extent MySpace has become
overexposed, even for the purposes of music. In the early days when I
had a few problems setting up help of any kind was non-existant apart
from FAQ tpe pages so do not expect a friendly team of support people
behind it, there aren't as far as could tell. Site customisation takes
place at the level of CSS and there are a number of lonline site
customoisation tools to be found.

I really couldn't give you much a clue as to accessibility as I have not
tried though profile pages are mainly a series of layout tables, but I
think a recent version of Jaws or any screen reader should do a
reasonable job.

Apart from my dealings of a musical nature on MySpace and Facebook I
don't have a lot to do with these kind of sites. It sort of depends on
who you expect to meet and why.

Regards.

Hi all,

I'm thinking about extending my computer activity and possibly signing
up
with MySpace, or a similar hosting site. I know some are using MySpace
and
wonder what you like/dislike about it; and what about the others out
there?

Any information gratefully received, as always.
