Hi Janet.

Another thing you can do is type in the capacity your looking for, for instance 16GB or 32GB, then search under the computing category which is where all the pen drives will be listed. You can then sort by price or relevance using the sorting options and scroll through the available results. This method I've found to be the most reliable as play's search engine isn't very intelligent, for instance if you type flash drive, a product called a memory stick or similar wouldn't appear. By typing in the capacity, your guaranteed to see everything that's available.

All the best, Ibrahim.

Hi Adrien, when you're on play.com do a search for either memory sticks or
flash drives as these are the same as pen drives, I've just done this and
have come up with lots of them in different memory capacities.

Hope this helps

Hi Andy

Ok that's fine, but when ever I've tried searching for pendrives I've never
found very many.

I know they used to have them but haven't had much luck lately.

Ok about the cards, they should all work then. Thanks.

Adrien

Hi Adrian - I've bought play's own make of pen drive before now [16gb] and
had no problems; just do a search for pen drive.

Regarding class difference with SDHC cards, it's about the speed for
transferring data to and from the card, so the higher the class, the faster
in theory or the less time you'll have to wait, in getting the data on to
the card, but once back in your phone, they'll all perform the same. For me, I don't usually change all the data on my card at one time, just adding and
deleting a few hundred meg now and again, as I add and remove music and
books; I'm not too concerned in buying the fastest class to do this -

Andy

Hi

I saw the exact package you mentioned on play.com for just
under £24, I was going to buy it but I went for the 8 gb
card plus card reader.

Hi Andy.

Ouch, looks like I caught this on a bad day, I just bought
the said 16GB
memory card for £29.99, but that was with a memory card
reader from play.
Ah, well as they say, you win some and you lose some.
Thanks for the heads
up on this deal though, I can now persuade my brother to
upgrade his memory
on his old Nokia E51.

All the best, Ibrahim.

Hi Adrian -

I believe all cards for mobile phones need to be the
micro
sdhc variety.
You can find a 16gb card on Play for about £17.95, but I
have notice that
play are bringing out a 32gb in a few days, for about
£59,
[hence the
16gb's price drop] which is about the best price at the
moment.

HTH -

Andy

Hi

When I look for memory cards for my mobile phone on
play.com
for example, what are they actually called? They are not
the
same as sd cards and what should I expect to pay for 32
gb
card for the phone please?
