Adrien,

Looking at the code for the Nationwide Home Page, apparently the Log In link is within a list item. A bit odd, but if you find Log in (2 separate words) it does work when you press enter, at least with Firefox 12 beta and NVDA 2012.1

The login link, if all else fails is

https://onlinebanking.nationwide.co.uk/AccessManagement/Login

Vince.

Subject: [access-uk] Help with a website please

Hi

I am having problems with a website, it is
www.nationwide.co.uk. When I load the webpage in ie9,
firefox 3.6.13 all my screen readers freeze up, I have tried
jaws 12, nvda and super nova 12.07, I managed to complete my
tasks using crome but why is this website causing problems
with my screen readers? If I tab around, jaws just says tab,
I asked a sighted person, the website has loaded ok. It also
works ok with webbie. Why is this affecting all the screen
readers and 2 of the browsers on my system? I asked dolphin
tech support, their technician said that the website looks a
bit strange. It is only the front or home page that is
causing problems but unless I can access the log-in button,
I can't get any further.

Regards

Adrien
