Hi Andy,
If you feel particularly brave, you can create a more up to date XP
Installation disk by doing what is called a "Slipstream" of XP SP3.
There are various sources of instructions on the web, sp here's one
for you to peruse. (Make sure the URL ends in "3.shtml"

You will find it when you insert CD and it finds the existing system.
It will ask if you want to Replace or Repair.
