From the Freedom Box website:

FreedomBox software for your PC - $99.00 (USD)

Priced at just $99.00, the FreedomBox software turns any qualified PC into a FreedomBox. The minimum system requirements are a 400 MHz processor, 128 MB
of RAM, 400 MB of free hard disk space, a multi-channel sound card, Windows 98 or later, and Windows Media Player 9 or later. However, we strongly recommend
a 1 GHz processor, 256 MB of RAM, 1 GB of free hard disk space, and Windows XP. You can also get the software for FREE if you're willing to use the DECtalk
text-to-speech software (which is included with the FreedomBox software) rather than AT&T Labs Natural Voices. Note that you'll still need to pay for the
monthly service if you get the free version of the software.

Hi Markr

The Main Menu reviews were of the old version of Freedom box. Version two
is a complete rewrite. The Latest review on the Freedom Box website is
from
the former Mosen Explosion radio show and is reasonably up-to-date.
