Ah but you would have cause to worry if the rumour were true Tris, not the
many of us who no longer depend solely on Freedom Scientific to live
independently with a PC. There are plenty of other equally good options out
there, so I wouldn't be paddling for one! (smile).

This was just vicious rumour and of course plenty of people would like to
see FS go down out of pure schadenfreude. The other side of the coin is that
if that were to happen a lot of people would be up a creek without a paddle
and such sentiment would be of little help to those who depend on their
screen reader.
