Hi Peter, ^t for Tabs ^p for Paragraph Marks That's a circumflex before the above letters. (Shifted 6 on the number row) Take care though when doing a search and replace, especially with paragraph marks to search for ^p^p and replace with just ^p. (i.e. to search for two consecutive returns) . I realise that you need to activate the special menu and that these characters are within the list but how do you get them to the find box, and in the case of paragraph marks how do you get two of them there and then get one into the replace box. Any help appreciated. Peter Bentley
