[access-uk] Find and replace in office applications

Hello

Using the find and replace feature I am having problems getting rid of all tabs 
and double paragraph marks ( where I have entered twice to create a blank line).

I realise that you need to activate the special menu and that these characters 
are within the list but how do you get them to the find box, and in the case of 
paragraph marks how do you get two of them there and then get one into the 
replace box. 

Any help appreciated.
