So, are there both good Android and IOS apps for this box, Steve?

Hi. Now that the TVonyx box is out of circulation! We do need an up to date product which can be updated over the air and doesn’t have a hefty price tag. I’m looking forward to these new boxes as I no longer have a talking box and I don’t have Virgin or Sky as I only watch programs on the BBC or ITV channels. On 1 Aug 2016, at 18:54, Carol Pearson (Redacted sender "carol.pearson29" for DMARC) <dmarc-noreply@xxxxxxxxxxxxx <mailto:dmarc-noreply@xxxxxxxxxxxxx>> wrote:
Hi Steve.
Thank you for this, we shall probably look at it further if nothing else comes along fairly soon.

Yes, you can set up series links, single programs, look at the schedule, even download programs from your box to a tablet for offline viewing. Sky Q is expensive, but well worth it in my view.
All the best

So, can you set up all the recordings via the programme also, so that you don't have this messy situation where (it seems)you have to send a message and it gets complicated ... but can work!
Cheers.

Hi,
If you’re prepared to use apps, then Sky Q is fantastic. I was
actually streaming Corrie in the garden on Saturday direct from
my Sky Q box, together with Audio Description as well. I could
then even delete the program from the box when I had finished.
All the best

Ah, I didn’t know that.
We bought a Panasonic TV a couple of years ago as it had speech
capability but it turned out not to be as good as I’d hoped as
many features didn’t “talk” and in the end I just use it as a
conventional television.
