Hi Roger, If you have both a Program Files and Program Files (X86) you are running 64-bit Windows. The Program Files folder is for 64-bit programs and Program Files (X86) is for 32-bit programs. The uninstall option in Control Panel should list all the programs you have installed on your PC, i.e. Adobe Reader, Microsoft Office, video and audio software such as Realtek etc etc. Not sure why you are not able to cursor down that list, perhaps it is something to do with Supernova? Try tabbing around the uninstall dialog box to find the list. Alternatively, is there an 'uninstall' option if you open the start menu and navigate to the program item? Press the 'Windows' key and type control in the edit box; 2. Cursor to 'Control Panel' and press the enter key; 3. In Control Panel, cursor down until you get to 'uninstall a program' and press the enter key; 4. after a short while the programs list wil show all installed programs, cursor down until you get to the program you want and then press the enter key on that program; 5. Windows will ask if you are sure you want to uninstall, click the 'Yes' button, then follow any subsequent requests to uninstall the program. After the program is uninstalled, you should be able to install the full version. I now want to use it and re-installed it only to be told it is already installed and the installation is cancelled. I finally found it in C:/Program Files (x86) whatever that is. I don’t seem able to do anything with it, either to open it or delete it. I need Administrator permission but I don’t know how to go about this. I’ve written to Emsisoft and heard nothing from them. Anyone any ideas as to how I can get rid of this to start again?
