HI,

Does your issue happen in all folder or just one? Sounds like the index may
be out of sync. Try the following:

1. In Outlook, press Alt+F then cursor down to Options.
2. Press S for search.
3. Tab to the first button to change index options.
4. Ensure Microsoft Outlook is selected in the list of search locations.
5. IF so, you can rebuild the index by selecting the 'Advanced' button and
then choosing the rebuild option. Note it's best to leave Outlook open
whilst the index is rebuilt.

This from my own experience. there are some settings in the first dialog
(Options > Search) that could be affecting things but if the problem has
only recently arisen it's unlikely they are the cause.

HTH.

Subject: [access-uk] Email search in Outlook 2010.

I love the search facility in Outlook 2010.

I've turned the indexing off, but when I search for emails, it's only
searching up to yesterday.

Jaws says date Friday expanded.

Is there anything I can do to get searches right up to date?

I think it's a fantastic feature, and I used to use it a lot in WindowsMail
in Vista.

If I can't get this to work as I want it to in Outlook 2010, I'll be going
back to WindowsMail.

I'm on lots of emails lists, as are many of you reading this I'm sure, and
find searching for emails is invaluable when you get about 500 emails per
day or thereabouts.

Sue.
