hi, unless of course andy doesn't have a card registered with paypal (assuming the buyer wants payment via paypal). some sellers require you to have a verified account with paypal in order to use that method of payment with them for example.

If the seller is wanting payment via paypal there should be no requirement for you to give your credit card details. Why not contact them directly and ask them.

Christopher and all -

I haven't dealt with this seller before, and have never seen that message
saying you are not authorised to buy this item because you don't meet the
sellers requirements which in this case, is to have a credit card registered
on file.

It says about this seller:

The above looks quite good if genuine, lots of buyers, and very high
positive feedback, I'm just concerned about this thing of giving my credit
card details; how necessary is this, when he wants to be paid by paypal
anyway! -

| Andy, unless you really really trust the seller, don't proceed to give
your
| credit card details, otherwise you could be a victim of fraud. Hope this
| warning helps.
