Exactly what I thought. If you don't use a screen reader, you wouldn't know
whether it was accessible. I did in fact try it yesterday, and it is
completely unusable as a reader, with a screen reader.

I have not used calibre with a screen reader so on that pint I would be
unable to comment, i instead rely on screen magnification. where possible i
convert to pdf since i can then magnify any text to the required font size
or, if i feel inclined to use adobe reder I use the read aloud feature on
that.

yup calibre can definitely be used as a reader as well.

a good all rounder is calibre, it reads and converts several common document
formats. and it is a free download as well.
