At the risk of sounding sarcastic
it is odd that a teacher should assume a child at age 7 is not ready to
learn Braille and yet you can bet your bottom dollar that that same
child would be deemed "quite ready for regular exposure to religious
studies".
certainly this was the case at my school.( although Braille was not
taught at said school(.
