Hi everyone!
Well, I've decided what to do about my scanning problems. I heard the presentation on the SiRecognizer on the internet, and I also read what everyone on the list was saying about it, so I'm trying to sell my Pac Mate to get it instead. It seems a wonderful solution, because I can take notes with it and use it to take pictures of books and stuff which I'd need, so it seems as if I'd have a all-in-one thing. My question is, if I can sell the pac mate, because I am studying some languages and need to take notes in lectures and read foreign texts, I want to know what you guys recommend about a braille solution for the SiRecognizer. I'd love a solution that would let me do braille input and output, like what I used to do on the Pac Mate, is there anything like that available? If there isn't, is there a small and compact braille display that I could get that works with the SiRecognizer? I've worked out that I would just like something with 20 cells like the one on the PM. The other option is to just sell the PM as a voice-only unit, and to then use the PM display on the SiRecognizer, but I don't think that's good because apparrently you already are using the USB port on the SiRecognizer for the keyboard, and it would be a bit messy everytime trying to deal with all the USB wires and stuff.
Thanks
Ari
