Think of Soundflower as being a piece of virtual wire, like a jack plug
connector lead that connects two applications inside your computer.

You basically "connect" the output of one thing and the input of the other
to Soundflower, and it acts as a bridge or conduit, or audio cable if you
like.

THe only thing to remember is that once you've wired the output of
something into soundflower, it won't come out of your speakers, unless
you've wired them as an output too.
