Hi Sunil,
That press release said that menus, artists and songs etc will be spoken, so
I would imagine it is full access. It is using TTS from your PC, so no
reason it shouldn't speak the menus. I will enjoy seeing it when it happens
<Smile>.

I know that has only just been announced, but does anyone know how
accessible the iPods with the spoken menus will actually be? Will they for
instance give a similar level of accessibility as the Olympus recorders do
by speaking menu options but not filenames? Or will it be possible to hear
artist and album title as you scroll through. And of course there's the
process of transferring tracks to it. Will Jaws users still have to purchase
scripts to make iTunes accessible?...cheers

I believe when last surveyed the sweet spot in terms of desired portable
storage was found to be somewhere aound the 30 to 40GB range. Not
everyone may want or need to carry their entire library of music,
assuming it stretches that far with them all the time. Hard drives in
portable devices are a mixed blessing, they have cheap capacity but
mechanically vulnerable.
