Graham/Mark,

In no way was I suggesting it wouldn't be welcome. In fact, Mark, I
agree with you but personally can't have yet another mailing list to
wade through. It was partly the thought of the amount of traffic I
already have in mailing lists that prompted my comment, together with
the fact that (despite the sniping) answers were forthcoming on those
lists and that's really all you need - the answers.

Now, before I dig myself much further into this hole - let me just say
that I too wish you all the best with it Graham!

Personally I think it'll be a welcome refreshment. When I left the old
Talks list it was full of non-stop sniping, and it seemed to me that
nothing was learned or gained by anyone. Not only this, but I guess
it'll be nice concentrating on UK providers offering talks as part of
the equation. Obviously I can't speak for anyone else here, but I found
the talksusers.com list was largely dominated by our friends across the
pond. I'm all for international input, but I think its nice sometimes to
have a touch of the home ground as it were.

Thanks for setting it up ~Graham, and look forward to spotting you on
there!

Cheers,

Mark

Hi all

I've set up a UK mailing list to discuss all things related to the talks

screen reader. To subscribe send a blank message with the word
subscribe in

the subject line to
talks-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx
and then to post drop the word request from the address. Look forward
to
seeing some of you on the list. Cheers!

Graham
