Hi Damon, I'm not sure how far I will be able to help you as I am really new to this torrent stuff but I'll have a go.

In my torrent client theres a preferences dialogue in one of the menues and in here you can set whether or not to queue items. Perhaps yours is set not to queue?

Also my client allows me to download two files at once, this is probably something else that can be set within the individual client.

In ABC I am shown all the files that I have or are currently downloading, whether or not they are queued, how much has been downloaded (in percent), the speed of download and upload, the total size of the file in MB and the length of time to get the rest of the file. I can access this using the WE cursor and sometimes it appears in a list box which I can access just by cursoring. Although this seems a little flakier.

I have noticed that sometimes when using the WE cursor I'm not given all the information although this is fixed by going up a line and then down a line. No idea why it happens.

Finally, whenever I start downloading a file I am asked where to store the file. This is something else I could have set in the preferences dialogue but I prefer to set it each time. This means that if I try to download a file which I already have I am given the option to start download again or resume. Do you know where your torrents are being downloaded to? When I say download I mean the process of downloading the file itself not the torrent file. My brain's not quite in gear yet.

Hi both.

I can download TV shows with BitTorrent no problem if I do it one by one.

i.e. I find what I'm looking for on UK Nova or whatever website. I click
Download and it finds its way onto the listings in BitTorrent.

What I then usually have to do is jaws cursor down to the item, right click
on it and select 'download now'. And it starts downloading.

What I can't seem to do is choos several bittorrents at once. I realise
that my client won't download more than one torrent at a time but I'd like
to be able to cue them up so that when one finishes the next starts.

It seems this is possible but, actually what happens is that the subsequent
bittorrents sometimes seem to disappear. yet if I go back to the website
and click the download tracker again, it tells me that I've already got that
torrent and I can't do anything about it. Further, I can't find it within
the client to totally delete it either. But, oddly, sometimes I can. The
jaws cursor access to this software seems very random and flaky.

These are the kinds of problems I'm having.

I use Yet another Bitorrent client (yes thats really what its called).
I've
managed to download quite a lot with it and it seems pritty ok with WE 5
so
it should be ok with Jaws 5 but you do need to use the WE cursor.

I'm also unclear on whether or not your supposed to be able to search for
torrents from within the particular client or that you just find them on
the
internet and then download them.
