David,
You can toggle the voice between a female and a male voice with
Ctrl-Shift-V, and change speed with Shift-Equals and Shift-Hyphen.

I downloaded it from Sendspace and it is working OK. I registered it
with
Amazon which entailed entering my Username and Password and I've been
able
to read a book using it.

you go to amazon.com, click on help and look for Accessible Kindle for
PC there should, I hope be details there.
