I've now discovered how to chat on FB without AIM but if I decide to reinstall,
can you easily chat to more than one person at a time how do you navigate
between the different people?
Also I notice I can add Twitter but can I read all my tweets on AIM also?

Mandy.

No not really Mandy. I have AIM installed and it doesn't open up at all.

I definitely didn't install the AIM toolbar nor make it the default search

Hi Mandy,
Uninstall AIM and reinstall, with all of the options unchecked, such as
setting AOL as your default home and search page as well as to install
the AIM toolbar, which is probably what is intrusive.

I was asking how to chat online on facebook and someone suggested AIM which I
have installed but it seems to get in the way of using the internet as it opens
all the time and slows down my internet connection to websites. What do I do to
make AIM less intrusive?
