Hola Pablo.
Al parecer ver el archivo que me enviastes no tienes aceleracion por
hardware activada "3d" para que el 3ddesk corra necesitar tenerlo activado.
Creo que tienes una tarjeta intel usa el driver i810 ,la distro que usas es
debian.
creo que para reconfigurar el xorg en debian es $dpkg-reconfigure
xserver-xorg con eso vuelves a reconfigurar el servidor x encaso de que te
haya dado mas problemas !
Para activar la aceleracion 3d de tu video intel i810 tienes que checar si
no es muy viejita ya que algunas de esas video cards no son buenas para la
aceleracion 3d desde hardware te recomiendo una nvidia o ati de 16mb son
viejitas pero he corrido lookinglass,xgl desde hace ya un buen tiempo , en
caso de que si lo soporte tendras que bajarte el driver para linux de esa
video card y recompilar el kernel.
si ya tienes experiencia en linux te lo recomiendo pero dado caso usa una
distro menos "manual" te recomiendo suse con su instalador yast que es una
ayuda facil al configurar un hardware o ubuntu ambos manejas la aceleracion
por hardware de default.
En conclusion a todo mi rollo es que no tienes activado la aceleracion por
hardware en la tarjeta de video.
puedes checar abriendo una terminal y teclear $glxgears y te abriran unos
engranajes girando si ves que es muy lentos es por la falta de la
aceleracion.

I'm attaching the output of the "glxinfo -display : 1.0" command. (see
output.txt)
I have all the libraries installed. (I think...maybe not...)
Yesterday I tried again and tested a few things like this:
"env DISPLAY=":0.0" 3ddeskd"
Then, the following error shows up: (see output2.txt)
and at the same time the X Server crashes (see output3.txt)
I'm also attaching the X Server log file (output4.txt)
I will keep trying tonight but I will be traveling tomorrow and coming
back in a week, so if I don't make this work today, I will continue working
on this next week.
