A website which has no lofty aspirations. This thoroughly
enjoyable site created by Steve Silverman, a New York state high
school science teacher and author, offers a diverting assortment
of off-beat stories culled from newspapers around the world.

Among the site's categories are Forgotten Genius, which includes
colorful tales of Paul Kammerer, Joseph Priestley and Jack Hall;
the aptly entitled Hmmm . . . features stories about The Coldest
Profession, The Pudding Guy and P.T. Barnum among others. Further
sections delve into the wonderful
world of Inventive Genius and Presidents and Rulers.
