Rat Lab: Where All The Mad Scientists Go

http://www.ratlab.co.uk/

Today's site, from a group of graduate science students at
Imperial College London, presents an upbeat take on the world of
science. Readers will find answers to an array of embarrassing
but nevertheless intriguing questions.

"Go to the 'Facts' section to find answers to all sorts of fun
questions about why things are the way they are, or spend some
time reading articles about important issues such as stem cell
research and the tuberculosis epidemic. Ambitious young
scientists will also find a cool section called 'Try This', which
is filled with safe experiments that can be tried at home." -
from the website

Among the sections at the site are articles dealing with some of
the serious questions confronting science, such as the resurgence
of
tuberculosis and stem cell research and Parkinson's Disease. The
"Facts" section includes notes on yawning, dogs and chocolate,
dimples in golf balls and the inevitable result of eating beans.
