I think MS has relented and given a couple more years to 98.

We will continue to source patches for you.

There are sometimes other 3rd party patches availible.

Worse than that, Mike, I am using Windows98 and they will no longer
support it in about six months.  Will it be safe to use it without
getting 'patched' every week?  ;-)
