The purpose of this mailing list is to discuss about the technology for the visually impaired community in Africa that they will be liberated from reading and writing dependency. In this light, the benefit of the adaptive technology, computer Training and the usage of other related assistive devices will be the main focused in our discussion for Capacity building, Empowerment and Poverty reduction among the blind Community in Africa. Therefore, ATI would like to make a call to anyone who is interested on the subject. Especially we encourage expertise that is working on these issues to join our mailing list and come-up with new technological solutions and suggestions.
