On
Ensign Tuvok lay on the bio-bed aboard the USS Eagle. He
served as en engineer aboard the USS Intrepid, and had suffered
severe radiation burns to his lower extremities. Tough Dr. T'itar had
treated him in Intrepid's sick bay, she insisted he go to the Eagle
and rest while things were being cleaned up. Being a consummate Vulcan
(much like his great-grandfather fro whom he was named), Tuvok did not
argue.
On board the Intrepid's sister ship, Tuvok was first seen by
the Chief Medical Officer. He found it very curious that this woman
was obviously Vulcan, yet she made no effort to control her emotions.
The other odd thing he found aboard this ship was the assistant medical
officer.
Without even asking, Tuvok realized this woman was a telepath, and a
strong one as well. However, Tuvok could tell she had no formal
training. She may not have realized it but she was broadcasting her
thoughts very openly. As she approached his bed to check on him Tuvok
started to move to a sitting position.
"You would like to know why we play Quiditch?" he inquired o her with a
raised eyebrow.
