<USS Eagle> "Embarassing Situations"

Ensign Melody returned to her room after spending most of her shift on the
bridge. Now she knew why Rachet spent so much time up there. When there was
nothing to do in sickbay there was NOTHING to do in sickbay. the bridge was
always full of some sort of activity. She had gone to the bridge to deliver her
report to the Captain reveiwing the situation on the Spaculaan Colony. Sometime
during the report her mind had wandered to Malachi. She had written in her
report that she missed him, and the Captain, his father, had read it. She could
have died right there on the spot from embarrasment. Melody couldn't believe
she had been so stupid as to not proof read the report before she brought it to
the Captain's attention.
Melody now wondered if he was going to tell his son what she had written.
Also she wondered what HE thought of the situation. One of his AMOs haveing
feelings for his son and him knowing.
She wondered if the Captain was going to call her to discuss her feelings for
his son.
She sighed as she thought about Malachi. He was so sweet to her but since he
had been working on the bridge he hadn't had the time to come see her in sick
bay. Melody had spent most of her shift on the bridge because Mal was at the
science station. The Captain hadn't said anything to Mal about the report
while they were on the bridge but she saw him glance in his direction....Her
report.... Melody sat straight up in bed...She had forgotten to edit the copy
she left for Rachet. Melody tossed a bathrobe over her nighty and bolted out of
the room headed for sickbay.
