[haiku-development] GCC4 stability issues

Hi,
Has anyone tried running a gcc4 build on real hardware recently? It
seems incredibly unstable compared to the gcc2 equivalent (i.e. I had
to exclude the radeon driver from the build to get the display to not
go insane when the app_server starts, even with failsafe mode chosen
from the boot menu). Specifically, even idling it doesn't manage to
stay up for more than roughly 1-2 minutes before hitting KDL with a
double fault, though the backtrace from the kernel doesn't make it
obvious exactly what triggers it. The same machine can run the gcc2
version perfectly for days on end. Any thoughts on how to go about
debugging what's going wrong here? Would fixing gcc4 warnings found
throughout the code possibly help?
