Hi all--this is last minute information but I was asked to put is out to you
all just in case anyone could take advantage:
Rabbi Gadaliah Druin, a Torah Scribe hired by Beth Abraham Synagogue, has
scheduled a special session for Torah Readers and Torah Gabbaim on Monday
evening (tomorrow night) after minyan (approximately 6:00PM) for those who are
regularly involved in handling and caring for the Beth Abraham Torahs (of which
our borrowed Torah is one). He will demonstrate the proper way to handle the
Torah, and some of the problems that occur from improper handling. They would
like to receive a call if you are able to attend.
Rabbi Druin will also be hosting a Tuesday evening program for the congregation
(and others may come as well)--if you are interested in attending, please call
the synagogue at 937-275-7403 to find out the time and other details.
