THE GIFT ART EXHIBITION
Dear Your Water Your Say Members
You are invited to attend a community event that aims to make a big difference.
A group of 13 artists from the Bass Coast have collaborated to voice their
mutual love of the coast and concern over the proposed construction of the
Wonthaggi Desalination Plant.
Art works will be sold through a silent auction and funds raised will ensure
that the Bass Coast community can fund its participation in the Environmental
Effects Statement Inquiry. Funds will also go towards a Melbourne-based
education/awareness campaign to promote sustainable water consumption.
The Bass Coast exhibition will take place from Fri 7th - Sun 9th November at
Dalyston Hall while the Melbourne exhibition will take place at Synergy Gallery
in Northcote from Fri 28th Nov - Sun 30th Nov.
There will be an exhibition opening (7 - 10 PM) at both venues on the Friday
night.
