Obviously U2 would not apply, but can VPT still be used with vDos for the color 
scheme tuning, in the case of Xy-3 ?

If you mean VPT, it's not so easy to find these days. But if you've
downloaded U2 in the last couple of years, you should already have it
in Editor's (Xy4) directory. Otherwise, you can grab it here:
