The U2 SPELL routine is narrowly targeted: it generates a list of questionable words -- automating the so-called batch SPELL, or SPELL-to-file, operation -- as opposed to traversing a document one questionable word at a time. What could be simpler than executing FUNC SO with the cursor on ~any word in that list, then hitting F5 to add it to the dictionary? I'm all for enhancements, as you know, but I'm hard-pressed to see how FUNC SO can be improved upon. The ADDWD and DELWD routines that I posted earlier today are about as close as I can come. If that is not what you have in mind, can you be more specific about what you'd like to do? -- Carl Distefano cld@xxxxxxxxxx
