Some thoughts I have try them..
1. Leave some margin always.(contents should be inside this margin), if we
print, margin will ensure to not lose any contents..
2. Little more bold and move to mid. It will give more balence to the
poster.
3. You have used two fonts for 'WOMEN HACKETHON' , If you want to
emphasize one word two colors is one best option. And that much gap between
women and hackethon is also not needed, they should be more close.
4. GCE logo. You can invert it and use( black instead of white. There is
an option in gimp)
You can add a white layer on top of all background and put its
transperency 40%. Then forground will become more visible.
Always try to stick with standerd colours. (you can copy HEX values and
paste in gimp color map).
