Dear club colleagues and friends, this is a reminder for the West Kent net
at 8pm this evening, on 145.375MHz +/- QRM.

*144MHz May Contest 21st / 22nd May.*
Members of the West Kent ARS will be taking part in this 2m contest, which
runs for 24hrs from 14.00 UTC on the 21st of May.
Final details for the event are still to be confirmed, but the club plans
to operate with its 2m linear running full UK legal power, and to use its
newly purchased set of dual 11 element beams.
In addition to those members who will be operating over the 24hr period,
additional help from members would be appreciated to help setup the
station, and then to help with the dismantling after the event.
While the weather cannot be guaranteed, we hope for some warmer
temperatures and ideally for some enhanced propagation that will help with
the 144MHz contacts.
Details for this contest weekend will be distributed directly to
those members who have signed up for the event, but anyone (members or
