Given what we've discussed so far, is it fair to say that Wittgenstein was a
behaviorist or not?
o No, he clearly rejected behaviorism.
o No, but there are significant affinities between his insights and
behaviorism as promulgated and practiced by its adherents.
o It's not clear enough from the writing he left us.
o Yes, he was, on balance, behaviorist in his approach.
o Yes, because the only way to interpret his writings is to recognize he was
unequivocally in the behaviorist camp.
