Hi everyone,
I'll be hosting a special eBird and Atlas training session at in Green Bay on
Saturday (April 23) morning. I'll be joined by some of the area WBBA II county
coordinators so you'll be able to meet local experts and ask them questions.
You'll be able to improve both your field and data-entry skills for the atlas
because we'll start with a bird walk at Bay Beach Wildlife Sanctuary at 8am
(meet in the first parking lot) and then we'll enter data from our walk and
demonstrate other common eBird and atlas examples at the UW-Green Bay computer
lab. Everyone will be able to use a computer and follow along.
Anybody can attend, this is particularly perfect for those who haven't eBirded
or atlased yet or would like to improve their skills. If you cannot attend the
walk but would like to attend the computer lab portion, meet at 10am in the
Laboratory Sciences parking lot (reached from South Circle Drive). No parking
permit is needed. We will use the computer lab in IS 1129E (number 6 on the
linked map below).
