I was birding High Cliff State Park this morning, pulled my ipod to refresh my song id skills before hitting the trail. Sometime later I heard a song I couldn't begin to place and thought must be a tree frog. Attempting to walk toward the sound I realized I was turning in circles. That's when it struck me. In dropping the ipod into my pocket it randomly shuffled to a Cactus Wren and began playing. Technology isn't necessarily helpful at times.
