I got out to the shorebird spot around 6:30. Had 12 Buff-breasted sandpipers on my best sweep of the area. There was probably more out futher. Had 1 Black- bellied and 5 Golden Plovers, all adults. Way out there was 1 Hudsonian Godwit that was nice enough to lift it's wings to show me the black under the wings. Closer in, besides the buffies, there was Lesser Yellowlegs, 5 Baird's, Pectoral,1 spotted and Least Sandpipers. Snipe and killdeer also. In the distant I could make out some Stilt Sandpipers and a lot more yellowlegs and pectorals. More peeps were out there, but to small to ID. I didn't spot any dowitchers or semi plovers. One possible Wilson's Phalarope, but also too far out.
