Seeing Dan's message reminded me to mention that there will be a walk at
Cherokee Marsh on Madison's northeast side this Friday evening at 6:30 p.m.
Levi Wood and Tony Kalenic have led this trip for several years now, and
promise a good time looking and listening for displaying Snipe and Woodcock
(well, at least I imagine they do.) You don't need to be a member to attend
(this is true of the vast majority of our field trips, by the way.)
Meet at the parking lot at the north end of Sherman Ave. Looks to be a
spectacular early-Spring evening, with warm temps and clear skies. For more
