Those be nuptial crests, also note the knob on upper mandible. Both are 
breeding adults.

There are still 2 flocks of White Pelicans at Nygrens west of Rockton. These 
two were at the mill race in Rockton. What's with the punky looking feathers on 
the head?!!

Also at Nygrens....Sandhills, Snipe, Yellowlegs, Blue Wing Teal.
