I am at the scissor-tailed flycatcher location in Keewaunee County but no luck so far. However, there was a Western kingbird in front of an old barn just east of CR E on CR O. It was perching on the tires of an abandoned piece of farm equipment and catching insects in the weedy ditch by the road. It had a yellow belly, light gray head and upper breast and squared off tail and definitely was not a scissor-tailed. I am going to continue looking for the scissor-tailed for a while and will post if I find it. There are other birders here looking for it as well. Bill Bright Iola, Waupaca Co. I might make a run to look for this bird, so if anyone spots it Tuesday morning post ASAP. Thanks!
