[wisb] WSO convention field trip etiquette?

I'm looking forward to attending the WSO convention for the first time.
I plan on going on the field trips.

Are there "rules" or suggestions or etiquette for participants that I should
know about?

I was hoping to take a camera (dslr, zoom lens and monopod) as well as bins.
Are there tips about what's "proper" in hauling camera equipment along on
these trips, ie, "We move fast and won't wait for you to get that perfect
shot," "We don't want to be blinded by your flash," etc.?

Thanks much,

John Krerowicz, Kenosha
