Hello everyone! On behalf of the Gr4eat Wisconsin Birdathon, I'd like to
introduce the WSO Tessen Team: Tom and Wendy Schultz, Jeff Baughmann, and Daryl
Tessen. You know them. Daryl's book Wisconsin's Favorite Bird Haunts has
pointed you to the best birding spots, and Tom and Jeff have led you there on
WSO field trips. While you were birdwatching, you've probably consulted Tom's
illustrations in the National Geographic Field Guide to the Birds of North
America. They're all long-serving WSO board members, and for many years Daryl
held Wisconsin's longest life list. Wendy coordinates WSO's BIGBY event and
keeps them all on task. As one of our Signature Teams in the Great Wisconsin
Birdathon this year, they'll be Birdathoning Green Lake, Marquette, Fond du
Lac, and Sheboygan counties to raise money for bird protection projects in
