This morning in Peninsula Park/Blossomberg Cemetery I saw a VARIED THRUSH. It was on the grass in the southeast corner of the cemetery near the road, along with several other thrushes, mostly Hermit. The Varied Thrush has been a "nemesis" bird for me, so this was my first sighting of one. Exciting! I had at least a minute to enjoy the bird as it moved about, looking for food.
